This print, produced some time in the 1940s or 1950s to advertise the Chesdale Cheese brand, highlights the cheese's convenient properties for the cook and consumer – it doesn't have a rind to remove, which reduces wastage, and the wrapping keeps it from drying out. Its versatility is also demonstrated. Chesdale Cheese was still available in the early 2000s, in pre-sliced, individually wrapped packages.
