MAF research locations

By the 1980s the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF) had a network of research personnel and land areas across New Zealand, designed to address farming problems in all regions. Horticultural research was concentrated at Levin and Pukekohe, and viticulture research at Te Kauwhata.
