The temples of the Rātana faith are built to a distinctive design based on the original temple designed by the founder of the faith, T. W. Rātana, which opened in 1927. The temples are decorated with symbolic shapes, such as stars cupped in crescent moons. Click on the images on this map to look at a number of Rātana temples around the country.
