The Māori affairs committee room of the 2000s, like its predecessor, is designed to resemble a whare rūnanga, with carvings, a red and white kōwhaiwhai frieze and woven tukutuku panels. Named Māui Tikitiki-a-Taranga, it was created to replace the previous, smaller room.
