Hui Whakaoranga, 1984

The Hui Whakaoranga was held at Hoani Waititi Marae in Auckland in 1984. It was a health initiative by doctors Paretene (Pat) Ngata, Eru Pōmare, Lorna Dyall, George Salmond and Mason Durie. The hui was held to discuss issues surrounding Māori health.
