Olympia motor show, Wellington, 1924

This display of cars at a motor show in Wellington illustrates the popularity of American cars at the time. Ford, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Hudson vehicles were all imported from the United States. During the 1920s there was a significant increase in consumer items from the US sold in New Zealand.
