Story: Terrorism and counter-terrorism

Counter-terrorist exercise (2nd of 2)

Counter-terrorist exercise

The photo shows a member of the Counter Terrorist Tactical Assault Group (CTTAG) on a counter-terrorist exercise. The CTTAG was set up in 2005 to augment the SAS in their counter-terrorist role. The name of the unit was changed to the Commandos in 2009, to better reflect its role and the fact that members are drawn from all three services: the army, air force and navy.
