Explaining human rights to children, 1948

Mabel Annie Newlands (left) from New Zealand and Marga Klompe from the Netherlands explain human rights to children at a United Nations meeting in Paris in 1948. Newlands and Klompe were both delegates to the negotiations that culminated in the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Newlands and Colin Aikman presented the New Zealand government's comments on the draft UDHR.
