Lord Cobham at Waitangi, 1960

Governor-General Lord Cobham sports his summer white uniform at Waitangi in 1960. The presence of the governor-general and the navy each year at celebrations on Waitangi Day (6 February) symbolise their links to the colonisation of New Zealand.
