Story: Riri - traditional Māori warfare

Pā on One Tree Hill (2nd of 2)

This shows a re-creation of the defences upon Maungakiekie or One Tree Hill, in Auckland. Pā became prevalent after 1500 CE and tended to be located in areas of horticultural activity.
