This clip from Getting to our place, a documentary by Anna Cottrell and Gaylene Preston on setting up the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, shows Cliff Whiting, kaihautū (Māori director), discussing Māori spiritual sensitivities to representations of ancestors. This is followed by scenes of tapu lifting at the wharenui (meeting house) Te Hau-ki-Tūranga before it is moved from the old Dominion Museum to the new Te Papa building on Wellington's waterfront.
