Cross-dressers: Rob Moodie as Miss Alice

Prominent lawyer Rob Moodie sports an Alice in wonderland dress in this 2007 cartoon. Moodie, a former police officer, wore caftans in public in the 1970s as secretary of the New Zealand Police Association. He is heterosexual and married with three children, but has said he prefers wearing women's clothes. In 2006 Moodie appeared in the High Court in Wellington wearing a blue dress and stockings, and officially changed his name to Miss Alice – in protest, he said, at the old boys' network running New Zealand's judiciary.
