Genealogical map

There are many computer programs which assist family historians to conceptualise their genealogical findings in graphic form, such as family trees. In this example, vital events data such as places and dates of births, marriages or deaths are displayed on a map of the British Isles. This allows researchers to map these events by geographical location and time.
