Occupational groups, by gender, 2006

Both men and women are moving into occupations traditionally restricted to one gender or the other. However, some occupations still have a strong gender imbalance. For example women are far more likely to be clerks or sales and service workers, while men are more likely to be trade workers or plant and machine operators and assemblers.
