Horse stud

Thoroughbred horses graze in a lush paddock at Wentworth Grange stud farm, near Cambridge. From the 1950s numbers of Waikato horse studs began to increase, producing some notable equine champions. Their success was sometimes attributed to the quality of Waikato’s pastures.
