Cross-dressers: Mika

Multi-talented Mika was born in Timaru. As a teenager he was a break-dancing and aerobics champion, and later performed worldwide as a dancer, singer and actor for stage, film and television, often appearing in drag. He set up the Mika Haka Foundation to promote healthy living for young Māori. In March 2010 his tribal pop opera : beautiful darkness premiered at Auckland's Aroha Festival.
