Cameron Brown winning Ironman New Zealand, 2007

Cameron Brown raises his arms in exhausted triumph as he wins his sixth New Zealand Ironman title in March 2007. Brown went on to win the title each year until 2012. In 2016, aged 43, he won the Taupō-based event for the 12th time, setting a new race record. He improved on this time in 2018, when Terenzo Bozzone won the race and broke the 8-hour barrier by 4 seconds. Brown finished third and stood on the podium at Taupō for the 19th consecutive year.
