Mr Lee Grant (the stage name of Bogdan Kominowski) was hugely popular in New Zealand in the late 1960s. In 1966 he became the resident vocalist on C'mon, a pop-music television show, which made him a household name. His third single, 'Thanks to you', won the 1967 Loxene Golden Disc Award. Grant moved to England in 1968, where he pursued a film career under his own name. Here he is pictured with some fans, probably in Levin, in 1968, not long before he left New Zealand.
