E whakaatu ana te whakaahua nei i te Ope Ārai o Aotearoa e haka ana ki te kawanga, i te ahiahi ō mua i te Rā o Anzac (24 o Āperira) 2001. Kei ngā taha e rua o Anzac Parade te whakamaumaharatanga e tūtū ana, otirā e 11.5 te tāroa o ngā kīwai kete e rua i mahia mai i te parāhe. Kei roto i te whakataukī o te Māori te tohu mō ngā kīwai nei, arā, ‘Māu tēnā kīwai o te kete, māku tēnei’.
