Mark Derby was a writer for Te Ara for six years. He was one of the team who contributed to a series entitled Pocket history on the Kiwi summer programme on Radio New Zealand National. These were short interviews with Te Ara writers about historical subjects drawn from encyclopedia stories. Here Derby discusses his work on patents with Kiwi summer presenter Lynn Freeman.
