The 1950 National Film Unit newsreel K-force shows an early contingent of Kayforce carrying out artillery training at Waiōuru. Kayforce was the New Zealand contingent that served in Korea. The battery is shown training on 25-pounder guns, which were standard weapons of the New Zealand artillery in the Second World War.
