Rod Millen, 1988

Watch this television clip of rally driver Rod Millen in his Mazda RX7 leading the pack in the 1988 Ashley Forest Rally Sprint. He was the only driver that year to record under 60 seconds for a lap of the twisting, gravel circuit through a pine forest in North Canterbury. The Ashley Forest Rally Sprint was first held in 1979, and the winner that year was Rod's brother Steve Millen.
